A proposal to use Sound as a vehicle for Peace:

In indigenous cultures throughout the world, sound healing has been used to restore harmony when a person or community has gotten out of tune with the natural harmonies of the universe. The vibrating frequencies of chant, mantra, singing, wailing, etc. entrain the community back to the resonance of the root sound of the Source and restore balance to bodies, minds and spirits.

Our world, now, is out of tune. The stress and chaos we are experiencing, according to the prophesies of many ancient traditions, is a sign that we are in the closing times of one Age and the beginning times of the next. According to the Mayan calendar, to Egyptian cosmology, to Babylonian Prophesy, Hopi and many others, the time is now. Our task is to re-align the axis mundi with Polaris, the North Star, re-connecting Earth and Heaven, re-membering that Earth is not separate from Spirit, re-tuning with the primordial sound of the Source.

The ancient Mayans even pinpoint the year 2012 as the turning point of the Ages.

If that is so, we have only another 7 years to help ease the rest of this difficult transition.

For the last 30 years I have been experimenting with movement and the voice as vehicles for healing. My technique is based on the premise that intention and conscious awareness of Love as a First Principle evoke healing energy, and that sound moves the energy into a healthy, balanced flow.

The technique that has evolved is a form of ensemble improvisation – much like ancient shamanic practices – in which the song arises from the group and bonds the individual singers energetically to each other and to the world. Through the ensemble sound, we raise the energy to a harmonic of the universal vibration and transmit it to each other, to those needing healing, and to the world.

Every day, now, as the world situation becomes more dire and our need for union and centering and creativity and light becomes more pressing, I recognize that it is time to share this simple practice with as many groups of people as possible.

Free Energy and Sound

About 25 years ago, I dreamed of standing by the ocean surf and singing to the waves. As I sang, my sound was captured by the bubbles in the foam and transformed into energy that could be used as power to fuel electricity and combustion engines.

For years I simply kept that dream to myself. Now, however, many people are working on the creation of what are called “Free Energy Devices.” The basic premise of these devices is that energy may be accessed directly from the energy matrix of the world, without going through the intermediary stage of fossil fuels or even sunlight. How this relates to Sound, or to my dream, I do not know. But I put this out there to encourage dialogue.
